This white earthenware plate has a floral decal used in conjunction with a molded rim motif. with delicate shading in the pink flowers. This white earthenware plate has a central grape motif decal, used in conjunction with a rim embellished with flown blue and gold gilt.     Close-up of detail on flower decal on left, Note scratches to the decal caused by cutlery.     The printed mark on the reverse of this plate indicates it was made by the Ohio China Company of East Palestine, Ohio, in business between 1986 to c. 1912 (Lehner 1988:328).
